With 15 years of experience building bespoke web applications from the ground up, I have developed a robust skill set in both front-end and back-end development. I completed web development courses in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript in 2013 and have since worked alongside experts in design and programming who have been invaluable mentors.

I take pride in using my skills and creativity to help others, and I thrive in collaborative environments. I am self-driven and a positive team member, consistently implementing high-standard designs and functionality.

My traditional web development background includes working independently on projects directly with clients and designers, creating reusable and scalable code, and developing custom WordPress themes. I am also experienced in Node.js applications with React and Next.js.

My early projects involved collaboration with Satpaul Bhamra, former lead designer at Pentagram Design Consultancy, focusing on iterative and progressive project development for private, public, and non-profit sectors. I also worked on extending bespoke CMS and Cloud POS systems with JL Development. My expertise encompasses SEO, web semantics, performance, usability, accessibility, and web standards.

In addition to my professional work, I have volunteered my tech skills to various local social justice campaigns and had a mapping app featured on Channel 4 News. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two lovely young children.
