I have 15yrs experience building bespoke web applications from the ground up. I completed web development course in HTML, CSS, PHP, MYSQL and Javascript in 2013. I have worked with experts in Design and Programming whom have been great mentors.

I enjoy using my skills and creativity to help others. I am self-driven and a positive team member who can implement high standard designs and functionality.

I have a traditional web development background, working independently on projects directly with clients and designers covering both front-end and back-end development, creating re-usable and scalable code, extending code bases and developing custom Wordpress themes. I also develop Node.js environment applications with React and Next.js.

Initial projects I worked on were with Satpaul Bhamra, former lead designer at Pentagram Design Consultancy, working through iterative progressive project development processes for Private, Public and Community / None profit sectors. I worked for some time on a codebase developed by JL Development, extending bespoke CMS and a Cloud POS till systems. I am knowledgeable in SEO, web semantics, performance, usability, accessibility and web standards.

I am currently interested in PHP.8, Node.js, Deno, Svelt, HTMX, PWA, Typescript, GraphQL and Web 3.0. I have volunteered my tech skills to a successful campaign to save a local Library - featuring a mapping App on Channel 4 News. I have two lovely young children.
